The Disease: Chapter One My eyelids fluttered open and I propped myself up on the bed. I soon realized as I broke into a cold sweat that I did not wake up in my cozy king sized bed in my plush bedroom at my house. No, I woke up in a foreign and scary room with only faint memories of the hours before I what? Fell asleep? Passed out? What happened to me?

I soon became a little more aware of my surroundings and realized without a doubt that I was not the only person in this place and that many more people were going to end up here other than the stranger that I saw. Or at least I thought I saw! Where did he go!?

I then saw a mirror and couldn't resist the urge to check myself out. I regretted this descision as soon as I got close enough to the mirror to see myself. I was horrified! Green skin! Dark green hair! Pitch black eyes! What happened to my gorgeous skin, beautiful long blond hair, and blue eyes that were so clear that you could see into my soul! I had to find out immediately!

Suddenly I was not alone and the man that I saw earlier was staring at me with a peculiar look on his face. Horror maybe. I planned to stay away from him as he kinda scared me but the curiosity started burning inside of me and I couldn't resist going over to talk to him.

Me- Where am I? Who are you? How did you dissappear a minute ago? And most importantly, what happened to me?

Stranger- Woah! Slow down there lady! I'll tell you but it's a LONG and TERRIBLE story. It's all true though.........
