Life Goes On
~Chapter 3~
Authors Note: I did not make the title page, I just found it on google and thought it fit the story really well. This will have a little of Elena in it and a little of the mystery person. The story starts out with the mystery person... Here goes.
The door in the corner of the room swung open, and in walked a middle-aged man wearing a white lab coat, bearing a name plate that said 'Dr. Jackson' in simple lettering.
"Hello sir," said Dr. Jackson, adressing the man on the bed in a very cheery voice, "Can you tell me what your name is... if you can remember it."
When no answer came, Dr. Jackson assumed that the man didn't know, so he explained the situation, "We found you washed up on the western shore of the island this morning. You had been badly injured and an MRI showed us that your brain has been somewhat damaged. At least enough to make it hard for you not to remember basic details about your life, such as your name," Dr. Jackson paused only long enough for the man to understand the situation. "We aren't sure how you ended up here, and since you don't have any means of identification, we don't know who you are or how old you are. I am truly sorry."
'I am truly sorry,' the words replayed over and over again in the man's head. Sorry for what? The fact that he can't remember his own name, or how old he is? The fact that he may have a wife and kids back home? The fact that no one knows anything about his life?
The mans face took on a look of pain, enough so that Dr. Jackson had a nurse come in to heavily sedate him. The retreating figure of the nurse was the last thing the man saw for several weeks.

"Welcome home, mommy!" Jessica screeched at Elena. Elena had been in the hospital for a full week, the longest she had ever been away from Jessica. Elena had only been discharged on the condition that she would see a therapist 3 days a week for two months to help her with her grief about Nick. Elena was perfectly happy with that because she figured it better to talk to someone than keep her feelings bottled up inside.
Frankie was planning on staying with Elena and Jessica for the duration of the two months, just to make sure that if Elena came unhinged again, there would be someone other than Jessica to help her through it.
"Hello my sweetheart," crooned Elena happily, she was as excited to be with Jessica as Jessica was to be with her. "I missed you sooo much when I was in the hospital!" exclaimed Elena, her words slightly muffled as she was speaking in to Jessica's hair, not wanting to break the hug that the two were sharing.
"I missed you too mommy! But I've had alot of fun with Aunt Frankie, right Aunty?" Jessica exclaimed.
"We sure did, Jess, we sure did..."
Weelll, what do you think? I worked really hard on this, so I would really appreciate comments, good or bad. And please tell your friends, so I can get more readers. Thanks!
P.S. Think about who the mystery person is and comment on who you think. :)

    This was my favorite part:

I hope you'll keep on writing and I'm glad Elena is okay now.

I think the mystery person is her husband. ^^
