Life Goes On: Chapter Four

Life Goes On: Chapter Four
1 year after Nick's 'death'.......
Nick's Point of View.
I finally awoke after what I judged to be several days of that stupid drug induced coma. I dreamed of a woman with flowing black hair and jade eyes, and a little girl, I judge to be about 12 or 13 years of age who has brown hair, freckles, and bright blue eyes concealed by thickly framed glasses. The woman was beautiful and the girl was too, and I couldn't help but feeling that I knew them from somewhere. Were they from my past, I'm not sure.All of a sudden, the door opened and my new nurse, at least I think she's new, but who knows, walked into the room."How are you, sir?" she asked proddingly."I'm fine, but can you tell me how long I've been out for this time?""Oh, I'm brand new, so I'm not exactly sure, but the doctor told me about a year.""A year! Oh my god! I must have been really bad then. Hey wait a minute! I can talk! I know for a fact that when I went into this coma I couldn't talk." "Good for you," crooned the nurse a bit unenthusiasticly, "You seem really familiar to me...... Nick!?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Elena's Point of View.
"Come down for breakfast," I shouted to Jess and George who were upstairs. George is my new husband, well, not exactly new, but new enough.... if you consider 3 months of marriage new. It was a really tough time for me after Nick's death, but George helped me get through it. He has been great to Jess too. She even calls him daddy now, and sometimes it's hard for me to hear her say that, but then I just remind myself that Nick is gone for good, and he will never come back to hear her call George 'daddy' or see me kiss him. After all, Nick would have wanted me to move on anyway.... right? "STOP!" I warned myself. I have a wonderful life, and I shouldn't keep having these doubts and feelings that Nick wouldn't want this for me! I'm pregnant for crying put loud.... pregnant.... pregnant....... just thinking the word plasters a huge grin on my face. Just then George stepped through the kitchen, looking very handsome in his khaki buisness suit.
"Morning sweetheart," he yawned sleepily as he kissed my cheek and rubbed my belly gently.
"Hello, love," I replied gently as he took his seat at the table and Jess bounded down the stairs and into the kitchen, "and hello Jessica, darling."
"Hi mommy," Jess announced as she came up and hugged me, taking her seat at the table, "and hello Geo.... I mean daddy. Sorry, I forget sometimes."
"Jess, I don't need you to call me 'daddy' nor do I want it, I will never take your father's place and I never hope to. Just be a good girl and eat breakfast, I'm taking you to school today as your mom has to go to work as soon as she finishes breakfast."
"Ummm.... Actually hon," I said shamefully, "I already ate, I just called you two down to say goodbye before I go to work."
"Oh. Ok," George replied as I grabbed my jacket and walked down the hallway to the front door."I'll see you guys later. Love you both. Oh and dinner is in the fridge. It's casseorle; just put it in the oven at 450 degrees for 15 minutes."
"Bye!" both Jess and George said at the same time, this of course, caused Jess to giggle. Gently closing the door, I eased my way into the car, thinking of how good my life is now and how much I love Jess and George...
I'm sorry I skipped like a year of the story and that this isn't my best chapter. I think it's the longest chapter so far though. Sorry I haven't written for a while, but I have been really busy with school and friends. I hope you enjoyed this and please comment.
Life Goes On
~Chapter 3~
Authors Note: I did not make the title page, I just found it on google and thought it fit the story really well. This will have a little of Elena in it and a little of the mystery person. The story starts out with the mystery person... Here goes.
The door in the corner of the room swung open, and in walked a middle-aged man wearing a white lab coat, bearing a name plate that said 'Dr. Jackson' in simple lettering.
"Hello sir," said Dr. Jackson, adressing the man on the bed in a very cheery voice, "Can you tell me what your name is... if you can remember it."
When no answer came, Dr. Jackson assumed that the man didn't know, so he explained the situation, "We found you washed up on the western shore of the island this morning. You had been badly injured and an MRI showed us that your brain has been somewhat damaged. At least enough to make it hard for you not to remember basic details about your life, such as your name," Dr. Jackson paused only long enough for the man to understand the situation. "We aren't sure how you ended up here, and since you don't have any means of identification, we don't know who you are or how old you are. I am truly sorry."
'I am truly sorry,' the words replayed over and over again in the man's head. Sorry for what? The fact that he can't remember his own name, or how old he is? The fact that he may have a wife and kids back home? The fact that no one knows anything about his life?
The mans face took on a look of pain, enough so that Dr. Jackson had a nurse come in to heavily sedate him. The retreating figure of the nurse was the last thing the man saw for several weeks.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Welcome home, mommy!" Jessica screeched at Elena. Elena had been in the hospital for a full week, the longest she had ever been away from Jessica. Elena had only been discharged on the condition that she would see a therapist 3 days a week for two months to help her with her grief about Nick. Elena was perfectly happy with that because she figured it better to talk to someone than keep her feelings bottled up inside.
Frankie was planning on staying with Elena and Jessica for the duration of the two months, just to make sure that if Elena came unhinged again, there would be someone other than Jessica to help her through it.
"Hello my sweetheart," crooned Elena happily, she was as excited to be with Jessica as Jessica was to be with her. "I missed you sooo much when I was in the hospital!" exclaimed Elena, her words slightly muffled as she was speaking in to Jessica's hair, not wanting to break the hug that the two were sharing.
"I missed you too mommy! But I've had alot of fun with Aunt Frankie, right Aunty?" Jessica exclaimed.
"We sure did, Jess, we sure did..."
Weelll, what do you think? I worked really hard on this, so I would really appreciate comments, good or bad. And please tell your friends, so I can get more readers. Thanks!
P.S. Think about who the mystery person is and comment on who you think. :)

Life Goes On Chapter 2

Life Goes On
~Chapter 2~
This chapter is in Elena's point of view...
"Mommy!?" Jessica's panicked scream filled my ears, yet I was unable to respond. Unable to even stop the choking sobs that spilled out of my throat.
Worried, Jessica ran out of the room and returned a few minutes with tears silently dropping from her eyes. Someone else was with her though, and when I tried to see through the thick wall of water escaping from my eye, I realized it was Frankie. Frankie. That girl was my everything, next to Jessica and... Nick... It hurt to even think of his name and it just made the tears start coming down faster and the sobs to get progressively louder, and more terrifying to the onlookers.
"Jessica, sweetheart, go call the ambulance for your mother," when Jessica didn't immediatley answer, Frankie broke under pressure and shouted, "NOW!" the tone of Frankie's voice just made her start crying even more and sobs started to escape from her throat too, but she did as she was told.
As soon as Jessica left the room, Frankie ran up to me and guessed exactly what was wrong, "Nick isn't gonna make it to his party, is he sis?" I couldn't do anything but nod and then the tears started brimming over her eyes too.
"It's gonna be ok, it's gonna be okay sis," Frankie said as soothingly as possible, but it sounded like she was trying to convince herself as well.
-------------------------
I woke up in a room with white walls. White everything, except for the small amount of blood on my sheets and hospital gown. Hospital gown... When I became oriented enough, I realized where I was, a hospital... Why was I here? What made this happen? And most importantly, who am I?
Ooooohhhhh cliffhanger. By the way the last paragraph was not Elena's point of view. I'm sorry if this is kind of confusing, but in case you missed it, Frankie is Elena's sister. Thanks for reading and please comment and tell your friends! :D

Life Goes On: Chapter One

Life Goes On
~Chaper One~This is my new story. There will not be any pictures, so this will just be a normal story. It will go on for a few chapters and then I will end it. Well here goes.
"Shit!" Elena cussed under her breath as blood started steadily flowing from her index finger, which she had just sliced open while dicing tomatoes.
She had been slaving over a hot stove all day, making her husband's faviorite meal when all she really wanted to do was order takeout. She hated cooking more than anything else, but today is a special day. Her husband, Nick, is coming home from spending a year fighting in Iraq. She had to make his homecoming as special as possible.
Earlier that week Elena had called all of Nick's friends and invited them to his homecoming. Tonight is going to be perfect, Elena and Nick's daughter, Jessica, had made a beautifulbanner and the mother, daughter pair had decorated the whole house.
Elena looked at the clock. 5:30, the guests would be showing up soon, so Elena put a band-aid on her finger and went upstairs to put her party outfit on and get Jessica ready. She simply let her long black hair flow down her back and added a simple flower. She then hurried back downstairs to finish dinner.
The doorbell soon rang and Elena sent Jessica to get the door while she finished the meal. Right when Elena had layed the meal out on the table, the phone rang and she ran back to the kitchen to answer it.
"Jacobson residence, this is Elena," said Elena in her blank monotone phone voice.
"Mrs. Jacobson," a man said in a heavy British accent.
"Yes," Elena answers starting to get a little worried, she had heard this voice before many years ago when her mother recieved a phone call saying that her father had died in the war. Elena hoped that this was not the case, because the only person in the war was Nick.
"My name is Stephen Smith, and I'm calling about your husband Nicholas."
"Go on," Elena says, her voice cracking a little.
"Your husband's plane was shot down this morning. The plane caught on fire and everyone inside was burned beyond recognition. Based on dental records, we found out that one of the bodies was your husband's. I am truly sorry Mrs. Jacobson," he says in the calm voice of a man who has delievered this kind of news time and time again.
"Mrs. Jacobson?" he says, but gets no answer because Elena had dropped the phone and fallen on the floor holding her stomach and gasping for air. Terrible, wracking sobs filled her body and tears fell down her face with a speed you couldn't even think possible. She didn't even make an effort to get up when Jessica walked in. No, she was much to heartbroken for that....
So, what do you think, please comment and tell your friends about this, as I spent hours writing this.

Why Do I Still Care? ~Intro~

Why Do I Still Care?
~Intro~ Welcome to the intro of Why Do I Still Care? This is just gonna be introducing the characters and showing the house and stuffs. This will hopefully be a better version of the story I wrote on sims3.com that I had to stop because of a computer crash. I hope you enjoy and remember this will get better as this is only the intro.
This is my home, nice, right? We bought it last year a while before my parents anniversary... That was before everything started happening with my mom. But I'm getting ahead of myself here....

This is me, Juno Larkson. No, I'm not named after the movie Juno, that came out years after I was born. I'm named after the Roman Goddess, Juno. She is supposed to be really beautiful and really mean and jealous. Well, I'm none of those things. I'm very pudgy and I have an ugly face, but, like most other gothic people, I love the environment, but I typically avoid people and I'm definately not jealous even though I have a terrible life.

These are my parents. They look happy, right. Well, that's what they were like. Now it's everything they can do to keep from fighting 24/7. I think I'm the only thing left that's holding them together. I'm like permanent glue that doesn't even have a solvent and it binds them together permanently. Even if I dropped dead they still wouldn't be free of eachother...

Sooo. Here is my mom. I look nothing like her. Obviously she is very beautiful, but I'm ugly. She is also the town slut and I don't know why. She has probably been with every man in this town even some married men. So it's pretty self-explanitory why I hate her...

Here is my dad. He is very kind to my mother but whenever she does the tiniest thing, he blows a gasket. Imagine how bad the arguements are when he cathes her in bed with a stranger. One time he even caught her with his best friend. Another time, he caught her with a woman... Why the hell hasn't he left her yet?

Last but not least, this is my bedroom. This is the place where I escape everything that's wrong with my life. The only thing it doesn't block out is their arguments and the noises of my mother banging a new person...

Thanks for reading. I hope you enjoyed! I will get the next chapter out soon. Please comment and tell me what you think. I worked really hard on this so thanks in advance to anyone who comments.

The Disease: Chapter Two- The Story

The Disease: Chapter Two- The Story
Hope you like it!
Stranger: The story starts about a year ago on June 30th 2009....
Stranger: Doctor Blake Hoover had just moved into town in the old abandoned mansion that used to belong to the Knacks.
Me: Yes I know about Doctor Hoover and how everyone thought she was a bit strange with the red eyes and all.
Stranger: Well did you know that I was engaged to her? Or ummmm.... I don't know... Maybe the fact that she gave us the disease that turned us into these freaks of nature and she is planning to do it to more people just like us!? Oh and maybe the part that the place we are in right now is her basement!!!! His voice escalated as he got angrier and angrier...
Me: Woah, woah, woah... Hold on just a minute... Your Lee Lender? The most elligable bachelor in town after you dumped the doctor... Wow this town must have low standards...
Lee: Hey! I didn't use to look like this and you left out the most important thing in your rant right there
Me: what?
Lee: My dissappearance.... Oh I don't know about a week after I broke up with the physcopath upstairs...
Me: Okay.... I'm getting confused now, can you just take it from where you left off...
Lee: I will continue the story but I'll skip past the boring part.

Lee: Ok so... I was extremely happy back then. Correction, Blake and I were very happy or at least I thought so...

Lee: After our engagement something snapped and she started to unravel as I watched. Suddenly she was not the Blake that I fell in love with, she was a different woman who would freak out when there was nothing wrong...

Lee: She would yell at me saying that everyone in town was better looking than her and higher up on the social ladder than her and she said that she would get revenge on everyone who fell into those two categories. She said that everyone except for me and all people who she looked better than and considered herself to be better than. Me for a different reason than others. Me because she loved me...

Lee: Shortly after she started telling me this crap, I broke up with her. I just couldn't take it anymore. She had gone insane and I just couldn't love her anymore. That's what got me to where I am today... Standing here, trapped in the basement with you and soon the rest of the townpeople that she feels need to pay.

Me: Well that still doesn't explain how we got this way!

Lee: I know! I was getting to that part.... I wasn't finished yet and if you would just shutup I could finish!

Me: Ok, ok Mr. Pushypants...

Lee: Mr. Pushypants? he said with a grin slowly spreading across his face

Me: I'm sorry! I'm not very creative when it comes to insulting people by calling them names! Would you just continue the story please...

Lee: After the breakup she became even more crazy and more obsessed with getting revenge on everyone who was better than her in one way or another. She started making different concoctions that would have different effects on the people she used them on. Then she discovered this terrible horrible disease that makes us look like this! The only other thing that she had to do was set it loose and give herself the antidote. People with the disease started dropping dead and she realized that she had to perfect it to make sure she could get the revenge she was looking for...

Lee: Soon she was able to perfect the disease so that it would not kill people off but keep them alive looking like this so that she could keep them in this room down here and observe their behavior. The only problem with this disease was that she had to administer it to people herself and she couldn't just put it out into the atmosphere. The reason why was because she couldn't find an antidote and if she caught it she would suffer like the rest of us..

Lee: She started by luring me into her basement and administering the disease to me. The next thing I knew I was waking up in here. Then the same thing happend to you. THE END.

Me: Not much of an ending I thought stories were supposed to have a happy ending...

Lee: Maybe there will be one... Eventually

Before I could reply, Lee was on the ground, gasping for air...

Me: Lee!!!! Please don't die! But it was too late to do anything... Lee was dead and I was all alone in this place...

So... What do you think??? Please comment, good or bad. I want to know how to improve....
